Welcome to our Home Sweet Sweet Home Blog!

Here i will post pictures of our dream home/land as it is being built! We bought 3.5 acres in Boerne, Texas. It is a cute and quaint little town with antique shops, boutiques, nice restaurants and a river. Our home is in Waterstone on the Guadalupe. Our neighborhood has 2 private parks on the Guadalupe River where you can park a car at each river and float down the river in tubes, rafts or kayaks. Jackson and Phil (and our good friend JD) just did it for the first time yesterday and said it was amazing! Please come visit any time to come along. There is a neat swimming hole that we have been to many times already and all of the kids enjoy it! The river park is right around the corner from our new home and has picnic benches and grills too. It is just amazing! we cannot believe we will be living in such an amazing place among God's beautiful nature!

We are building a custom home with Stone Creek Custom Homes. The estimated time of completion is mid December or January. I am planning on January. Phil and I took one of their existing house plans and modified it greatly to fit the needs and wants of our family. They are even building many of my antiques into the home and for that i am ecstatic!

There are a lot of pictures to see already, I will post the most recent ones later today or tomorrow.

And also I will post a picture of our cute rent house we are moving into in a few weeks. It is adorable and only minutes away from our new home, so we will be able to check on it often, spend a lot of time on our land and at the river around the corner from our new home and get involved in the community with the kids (ballet, gymnastics, etc)!

We are on a 3 1/2 acre piece of land, COVERED in amazing oak trees! and a lot of cedar too - but we are working on clearing the cedar off so that all there is are oak trees, except on the edges of the property, we are leaving the cedar thick for privacy. You cannot see ANY of our neighbors on any sides of us, except for across the street, but their home is pretty and they are a NICE Christian family with a little boy for Jacks to play with! we are so blessed!!

The girls are sharing a BIG room and have a little "castle" room off of their bedroom for all of their toys, it has big picture windows and a is shaped like a circle with a roof/ceiling that goes up into a point. Mia is VERY excited about this!!

Jacks has his own room of course and it is also very big. He will have a loft inside of his room with a slide to get out and secret doors. VERY cool indeed. :)

It is a 1 story home, but with the high ceilings, we will be able to finish out the top floor at some point and when the kids are older, Jacks can move to a room upstairs and Ella or Mia will move to his.

the foundation has been poured!
